Tomball College's Rocky Mountain National Park Expedition

    TRANSPORTATION: Two days transportation to and from Colorado on a 47-passenger luxury coach is included in the cost of the trip.
    COST: Total cost including transportation, lodging, and meals for the seven-day expedition is $799.00.
    DATES: The trip is scheduled to leave Houston on Saturday, June 5, and return on Sunday, June 13, 1999.
    ORIENTATION: A mandatory orientation and briefing session is required for all participants. A $250 deposit will be required at this time from those registering for the expedition. The session will be held on Saturday,

    Description:
There is nothing like sitting around a campfire with friends and family, roasting marshmallows, singing songs, and telling stories. These memories and more can be yours to experience for a lifetime when you participate in Tomball College's geological expedition to Colorado's scenic Rocky Mountains.
Experience seven fun filled days at YMCA Estes Park Resort situated just three miles from the east entrance to the famed Rocky Mountain National Park.
The tour guide, Tom Browder, adjunct professor of Geology at Tomball College, will present informal lectures on the diverse geology of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain National Park.
Planned activities include: family hayride, summerfest, storytelling, flyfishing, beaverwalk, museum tours, tennis, scavenger hunt, nature hikes, and daily visits by tour bus to the National Park.
