Africa will remain pivotal in the global future of evolving and growing energy needs. The annual HGS/GESGB Africa Conference, this year Sep 24-25 in Houston, pays recognition with our Theme of Africa 2024: The Future in Energy, Skills, and Diversity. The conference will reflect that theme with a diverse array of oral presentations, posters, opportunity exhibits and networking nooks and sessions. While you strengthen your geoscience knowledge, come and renew your network with a collection of industry experts renowned for sharing tips and encouragement.
Interested in participating? The best ideas come from front-line and local academic and professional staff so we want your submittals and involvement. Our target list of region-specific themes, subsurface technical categories, and policy and regulatory discussions offers scope for your insights to reach both peers and clients. An outline of topics covering hotspots, exploration concepts, and energy initiatives, including paired solutions, will be issued shortly.
