Our next HGS day at the Houston Museum of Natural Science is Saturday, November 3rd, 12-5pm.

DinoDays celebrate the official birthday of "Dipsy",  the Volunteer Guild's mascot diplodocus.  During the DinoDays Family Festival, we'll be running a simulated fossil dig (real fossils, real rocks, imported "outcrop"), fossil information and demo stations, lots of dino-crafts and coloring all afternoon.

The afternoon festival is the second DinoDays event that day, so don't get confused!   The ticketed morning "Dinosaur Breakfast" event needs only a dozen Volunteers.  These places were filled by generous Geo-people during our October Earth Science Week celebration, so we need folks for the afternoon only.
