The AEG Texas Section is holding a technical symposium to explore several relevant topics in the environmental and engineering geology field. Topics to be presented include marine geohazards with a discussion of the BP Macondo Well blowout, LiDAR applications, and Ethics in geosciences. Speakers include Dr. John Leinhard, author of The Engines of Our Ingenuity, Dr. Bill Haneberg, GSA/AEG 2011 Jahns Lecturer, James Hooper and Paul Parsons, with an ethics discussion led by George FitzGerald. Space is limited. Make your reservations early!
Five Professional Development Hours (PDHs), including one hour of ethics credits, will be earned with attendance!
