Geologic Surface Faults in Houston
Saturday, June 25, 9 a.m.
HMNS $15 members, $19 HMNS non-members

This is a day excursion sponsored by the Houston Museum of Natural Science.  See their website for details on how to sign up.

Houston has over 350 faults—that’s more than Los Angeles!  Learn more about this natural, geologic phenomenon from geologists Richard G. Howe and Dr. Carl Norman.  Visit local sites where effects of faults can be seen in homes, buildings and roads.  Meet at the U.S. Corps of Engineers’ headquarters at the Addicks Reservoir.  (Directions will be e-mailed to all participants).
