This research presents a workflow that highlights the importance of strat igraphy in unconventional plays\, even when they a re in harvest mode.\n \n The essence of the contri bution is based on a rich core and sample-based da taset covering the deep-water sector of the Wolfca mp Formation\, in the Delaware Basin (NW Texas). T he authors created a sequence stratigraphic framew ork that allows for the prediction of rock types a nd reservoir quality within specific sequences and improves the mapping of common-risk segments\, th e development options\, and the landing zones in t he most productive area of this Super Basin.\n \n \n \n The analyses are displayed as maps incorpora ting seismic data and wells at basin scale (9300 k m2 [35\,900 mi2]). We describing twenty-nine cores \, integrating eleven lithofacies and fifteen petr ofacies. \; Sample work included core analyses (gamma ray\, x-ray diffraction\, total organic ca rbon\, water saturation\, porosity\, permeability\ , Young'\;s Modulus\, Poisson'\;s Ratio\, co mpressional wave/shear wave)\, calibrating well lo g signatures to cores (gamma ray\, density\, neutr on\, resistivity)\, and assigning geological signi ficance to log signatures (electrofacies).  \; Interpretation included determining timelines\, co rrelating wells based on core analyses and calibra ted log signatures\, and propagating correlations to wells without cores.  \;The study&rsquo\;s results demonstrate how geologists can create a si mplified electrofacies model that can identify the four main rock types of the basin. \n \n The stra tigraphic framework\, which evolved from the integ ration and reconciliation of multiple subsurface d ata sets.\n \n (1) serves as a common starting poi nt for new subsurface projects\, \n \n (2) identif ies the black siliceous mudstones as the best rese rvoir quality lithofacies and the lean dolomitic m udstone as the worst\, and \n \n (3) classifies th e stratigraphic "\;Beta unit"\; as the mos t appropriate candidate for the development of unc onventional resources.\n \n This research is publi shed in the AAPG Bulletin\, Vol 108\, no 1\, Janua ry 2024.\n \n About the Speaker\n \n \n \n Daniel Minisini works at ExxonMobil\, Spring\, Texas and was previously at Shell Technology Center\, Housto n. \; Dr. Minisini is an adjunct professor at Rice University\, and the producer of miniGeology. com. \; He earned a Ph.D. in marine geology (U niversity di Bologna). He has held positions as a geophysicist at Eni (Milan\, Italy) and sedimentol ogist-stratigrapher at Shell (Houston\, Texas).\n \n Minisini&rsquo\;s goal is to investigate the fo undations of reservoirs and source rocks and appli ed them to exploration and development through the integration of seismic data\, outcrops\, modern a nalogs\, and laboratory experiments. He has publis hed 56 articles and edited AAPG Memoir 121.\n \n D aniel was the keynote luncheon speaker at GeoGulf2 3 in Houston Texas\, inspiring the audience with s tories about his interviews with famous and import ant geologists. Dr. Minisini'\;s contact emails are daniel.minisini@exxonmobil.com or daniel.mini sini@gmail.com.\n \n  \;\n \n  \;\n \n \n Instructions to Norris Conf.
