A 2024 drilling campaign wa s launched to target a 25-acre amplitude anomaly i n the H-10 Lower sand named Outforde. The target l ocation was downdip from producers that went offli ne from low rates\, high water cuts\, or mechanica l issues. \n \n H-10 Sd fault block A production b egan in 1983 and totaled 3.1 MMBO and 4.1 BCF unde r water drive. Varying oil-water contacts\, bottom -hole pressures\, and drastic facies changes acros s the fault block alluded to complex drainage patt erns. Our newly reprocessed seismic data revealed two distinct depositional episodes (Upper and Lowe r Members) of the H-10 sand package previously tho ught to be a single unit with multiple stratigraph ic barriers. \; \n \n New data showed that the H-10 Lower member is divided into stratigraphical ly and structurally isolated NE-SW trending channe l-form amplitude anomalies in eastern FB- A. Norma lized AVA response curves from the reprocessed gat her data showed Class III AVA response at the Outf orde take point. Trap and charge were high risk el ements as the prospect was heavily dependent on th e geologic model and AVA analyses. \; \n \n Ou tforde discovered >\;100&rsquo\;TVT of net oil\, approximately 2.5X Cantium&rsquo\;s pre-drill est imate. \; Production began on 04/2024 and reac hed peaks rates of 1800BOPD. This has opened new d evelopment opportunities in neighboring amplitude anomalies for future drilling campaigns.\n \n &nbs p\;\n \n Stephanie&rsquo\;s Bio\n \n Stefanie Frel inger is a development Geoscientist for Cantium an d the lead Geo for the MP313 field. Prior to her 5 -year tenure at Cantium\, she worked in Central an d Western deepwater GoM for CNOOC in exploration a nd development. She received her Master'\;s in Geoscience at the University of Texas at Austin in 2015 and her Bachelor of Science in Geological En gineering at the Colorado School of Mines in 2010 as a student-athlete in women'\;s soccer. Befor e entering the energy industry\, she worked 2 year s with industrial minerals mining company Imerys i n Limoges\, France. When she'\;s not spending h er working hours looking for oil and gas prospects \, you can find her playing random international s ports like Gaelic and Australian Rules Football.\n \n \n \n  \;\n \n Luke&rsquo\;s Bio:\n \n Luk e Pierce is an Exploration Geoscientist at Cantium \, where he is currently managing seismic reproces sing initiatives and performing near-field explora tion. Prior to joining Cantium in 2019\, he develo ped and executed a nine-well horizontal drilling p rogram in the Wilmington Field (California) for Wa rren Resources (2017&ndash\;2019). From 2013 to 20 17\, he served as Geoscience Manager at Rooster Pe troleum\, generating both development and explorat ion opportunities for mature GOM Shelf assets. Pri or to Rooster Petroleum he worked at ERT/Remington Oil and Gas (1999&ndash\;2013)\, where he develop ed both Shelf and Deepwater projects\, including t he Green Canyon Phoenix Field. From 1997-1999\, he worked with ORYX Energy in Deepwater Western GOM. Before ORYX Energy he worked for Enserch Explorat ion (1991&ndash\;1997)\, where he generated shelf and deepwater plays. He began his career as a Seis mic Analyst with Geco Geophysical (1985 -1991)\, p rocessing 3D marine surveys after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from the Unive rsity of Houston. Outside of work\, you will find him designing and 3D printing assorted plastic obj ects and spending time outdoors grilling in his ba ckyard.\n \n \n \n  \; CATEGORIES:General Lunch CALSCALE:GREGORIAN DTSTAMP;VALUE=DATE-TIME:20260121T113000 DTSTART;VALUE=DATE-TIME:20260121T113000 DTEND;VALUE=DATE-TIME:20260121T200000 LOCATION:Murphy Oil Corp\n 9805 Katy Freeway Frontage Rd\n Unit G-200\n Houston\, TX 77024\n United States\n URL:https://www.hgs.org/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=2676 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
