AAPG HoD 2022 Election

The House of Delegates of the AAPG is made up of delegates from affiliated societies and international regions throughout the world. They are selected by popular vote from within their respective areas and serve a three-year term. AAPG House of Delegates Requirements of the delegates include:

  • Familiarity with AAPG’s Constitution and Bylaws  Acquaintance with AAPG’s current policies and programs
  • Willingness to inform the leaders of their society or region regarding AAPG’s program of activities, particularly as it relates to cooperative participation and service
  • Attend annual AAPG HoD meetings to vote on By Laws and Constitutional proposals to modify the governance of the AAPG
  • Willingness to support the AAPG HoD with membership retention and recruitment
  • Willingness to actively solicit applications from eligible geologists for membership in AAPG


We are providing a brief informational summary of 22 candidates for the HGS delegation to the AAPG House of Delegates. A formal ballot will be sent to those eligible to vote by AAPG. Each voting member will be asked to vote for 22 individuals.
