GEOPHYSICIST

A Houston energy company is seeking to fill an opening for a full-time Principal Geophysicist.

Particulars:

• Education: B.S. in Geology or Geophysics, M.S. preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of responsible experience primarily in geophysical interpretation and prospect generation in the Gulf of Mexico. Workstation expertise, preferably Landmark, and attribute and AVO interpretation and integration is required. Some experience using Hampson-Russell and GMA software is a plus. Particulars:

• Education: B.S. degree required; M.S. degree highly desired.
• Experience: 10+ years industry experience. A proven oil finder, with prior experience working for a major, or large independent, highly desired.
